Description

Jerry enlisted to the army on November 25th, 1940, as part of Medical Detachement of Texas National Guard. At first, he was reported Missin in Action on September 19 during Operation Avalanche. This was later changed to Prisoner of War of the Germany. He was detained in Stalag 2B Hammerstein in West Prussia and was liberated in July 1945.
