Description

Edwin registered to the army on June 130th, 1942. 

He was at reported Missing in Action on June 5th, 1944, after he successfully completed 24 combat missions. Not later after that, his staus was change dto Killed in Action. At the end of July 1944 his status changed again to Prisoner of War. He got missing during the raid over Germany. He was detained in Stalag Luft 3 Sagan-Silesia in Bavaria and was liberated in May 1945.
