He registered to the army on June 30th, 1942, and entered while still at high school on March 2, 1943. He was in training until December 1943, when he was sent to England. He was Missing in Action since June 19th, 1944, when ship which was transfering him and other to France, sank off the coast of France. He was later assumed dead.
He received Purple Heart Medal.
His name is on Tablet of Missing at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Basse-Normandie, France.
