He enlisted to the service in February 1942 and was stationed in several camps before he was sent to England four months before the invasion to Normandy. He was Killed in Action on July 11th, 1944, somewhere in Normandy.
He is buried at Normandy American National Cemetery and memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Basse-Normandie, France.
He was awarded a Purple Heart Medal.
