Norman Maca graduated Crete High School. He served in Italy, where he was wounded, and in North Africa. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Medals.
His wife was Rachel (McArtor) Maca. They had three children: Martin (Sally) Maca, Barbara (Bill) Schneider and Ginger Maca.
