Charles Skocpol graduated from Wilber High School (1936) and Crete's Doane College (1940). He was a civilian instructor at the Army Air Forces Training Command School at Yale University. He was too tall to enlist. Mr. Skocpol married Bernice Japs in 1945. He is buried at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX.
