Description

He enlisted in 14th April 1942, but was member of National Guard since October 1940. After spending some time at the camps in the U.S. he went over to Africa and then to Italy in April 1944. At first, he was reported missing in action and status soon changed to killed in action. He is buried in Florence American Cemetery and Memorial, Florence, Italy. He was awarded with Purlpe Heart Award.

His younger brother Benjamin died in 1943 in Italy too.
